GYMNASTICS
Competitive Gymnastics
Developmental and Competitive groups make up our WAG Invitational Stream, which has the end goal of athletes competing, achieving quality standings and skills to their highest possible level. Elevate offers two streams of competitive programming: the Canadian Competitive Program (CCP) and the XCEL Program. In the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Invitational Program, athletes compete in four events: vault, uneven bars, beam and floor, to achieve skills to the best of their ability!
Developmental Groups
5+ years
We’re passionate about building life foundations through gymnastics! We truly believe in gymnastics as a fundamental building block, a foundation sport that helps youth, no matter what path they choose in life. The Developmental stream is designed for young athletes to develop strong physical literacy, coordination, strength, discipline, flexibility, and fundamental skills that will help prepare them for the CCP Optional or Xcel programs, while enhancing their love for gymnastics. These groups require family commitment and time management. This program is by invitation only and prepares gymnasts by developing and refining skills, flexibility, and strength in a challenging yet enjoyable environment.

Canadian Competitive Program (CCP)
7+ years
Compulsory and Optional athletes compete in the Canadian Competitive Program (CCP). Levels 1-5 follow compulsory routines and Levels 6-10 compete optional routines. The goal of this program is to compete outside of Kenora and achieve positive standings in our region. This path requires dedication, family commitment to the program, and time management. Athletes compete in all 4 events at a number of competitions throughout the year.
Xcel Program
7+ years
Xcel is an alternative track to the CCP 1-8 program, offering individual flexibility to coaches and gymnasts. The goal of the program is to provide gymnasts the ability to showcase their achievements in a competition setting. Athletes will work on optional, personalized routines with their coaches. They will train and compete to their strengths rather than competing the compulsory CCP 1-5 routines. This is an exciting new program that Canada has recently adopted.
